Help for coaches using the app — and a real person on the other end of the email.
TeeBall Playbook is built and answered by one volunteer coach, in the evenings. Email gets a reply within a few days. Telling me your iPhone or iPad model and what you were doing when something went wrong saves us both a round trip.
Open Plans → Browse templates and pick one that matches your age group and how long you have. That gives you a full practice you can run on Saturday without building anything. Once you have a plan, tap Start practice and the app walks you through it drill by drill.
Two age bands — younger tee-ball and older tee-ball — at 45, 60 and 75 minutes each. Every one follows the same shape a good practice does: warm-up game, skill work, something competitive, then a cool-down. You can edit any of them after you use one; it becomes a normal saved plan.
Yes. Tap + and either pick drills yourself from the library of 104, or start from a template and change it. The budget bar at the top keeps you honest about how long you actually have.
That is expected for most drills right now. Drills that have a chosen video open it directly; the rest open a search for that drill by name, so the button always does something useful. More hand-picked videos are coming.
Each device gets five AI plan suggestions a day, and they reset overnight. If it says the helper is busy instead, that is everyone's shared daily budget — wait a few minutes and try again. Either way, the drill library and the templates are always there.
If a screen says it could not load something, your data is still saved — tap Try again rather than retyping, or the next thing you add may end up duplicated. If a list is genuinely empty after an app update, email me before deleting the app; deleting it is the one action that really does erase everything.
Open the plan and tap Export PDF. You will get a printable sheet with every drill, its timing and what to say — useful for handing a station to another parent.
There is no account and no sign-in. Plans, notes, your roster and any photos you add stay on your device. The only thing that ever leaves is the plan you are working on, and only when you tap one of the AI buttons. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Partly. Everything is written for four- to six-year-olds — the drills, the wording, the attention spans. Coach-pitch teams will find the throwing, fielding and base-running drills transfer fine, but the language is aimed at little kids.
Delete the app. Because nothing is stored on a server, removing it from your device removes your plans, notes, roster and photos with it. There is no account to close.
Both welcome, at the same address. This app exists because coaching tee-ball with no plan is harder than it needs to be — if something is missing that would have helped you in week one, that is exactly what I want to hear about.
